1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Mária Bordáné Móré, trading as Móré Creative Arts (“I”, “we”, or “the Service Provider”), operating the Slow Cubing coaching service at slowcubing.ch, and any person (“Client” or “you”) who accesses this website or books a coaching session.

By booking a session or purchasing a package through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or make any booking.

These Terms constitute a legally binding contract under Swiss law (Swiss Code of Obligations, OR). They apply exclusively to in-person coaching sessions delivered in Switzerland to clients physically present in Switzerland. Móré Creative Arts is a sole proprietorship owned by Mária Bordáné Móré. As the business currently operates below the CHF 100,000 annual revenue threshold, it is not registered in the Swiss Commercial Register.

2. About Slow Cubing

Slow Cubing is a mindful, reflective approach to using the Rubik’s Cube as a coaching and self-development tool for adults. It is entirely distinct from competitive speedcubing and does not constitute psychological therapy, medical treatment, or clinical counselling.

Coaching sessions are delivered in person, in Switzerland, by the Service Provider or by a practitioner engaged by Móré Creative Arts, at a location communicated at the time of booking.

3. Services Offered

3.1  Individual sessions

Personal coaching sessions require a minimum commitment of 5 hours. The price is established by mutual agreement between the client and Slow Cubing prior to the start of any engagement. The agreed price will be confirmed in writing before the first session takes place.

3.2  Session packages

Bundles of multiple sessions (e.g. 2 or more sessions) offered at a package price. The following conditions apply to all packages:

• Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
• All sessions in a package must be used within 6 months of the purchase date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Unused sessions after the 6-month period are forfeited without refund.
• Packages are personal and non-transferable.

4. Booking and Contract Formation

A booking is confirmed once you have: (a) selected a session date and time via the booking system; (b) completed payment in full; and (c) received a written confirmation by email. No contract is formed until written confirmation is received.

I reserve the right to decline a booking at my discretion before confirmation is sent. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded in full within 5 business days.

All sessions are conducted in English or French, as agreed at the time of booking.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices for Slow Cubing sessions are provided individually upon request. A personalised quote will be communicated to the client prior to any booking confirmation.

Payment terms and accepted methods will be specified in the individual quote or booking confirmation.

Prices shown are indicative starting rates in Swiss francs, VAT included. Your final price will be confirmed in writing before any booking is made. Contact us for a personalised quote.

6. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policy

6.1  Cancellation by the Client

You may cancel or reschedule a booked session free of charge, provided you notify me at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellation must be made by email to csaba@slowcubing.ch or via the booking platform.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session fee is forfeited. For package holders, one session is deducted from your remaining balance.

6.2  No-show

If you fail to attend a booked session without prior notice, the full session fee is charged, or one session is deducted from your package. No replacement session or refund is provided for no-shows.

6.3  Cancellation by the Service Provider

I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session in the event of unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergency, force majeure). I will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.

6.4  No right of withdrawal

Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for in-person service contracts. Once a session is confirmed and paid, it is governed exclusively by the cancellation policy set out in this section.

The 14-day withdrawal right under EU consumer law does not apply here: coaching sessions are offered exclusively in person to clients in Switzerland, and Swiss domestic law does not provide an equivalent right for service contracts of this type.

7. Client Responsibilities

As a coaching client, you agree to:

• Arrive punctually. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times regardless of late arrival.
• Engage in sessions in good faith with a genuine intent to explore the Slow Cubing method.
• Not record, photograph, broadcast, or distribute any session content in any format without my prior written consent.
• Use any materials or insights from sessions for personal development purposes only, not for commercial redistribution.

8. Recording and Use of Session Content

8.1  Client recording prohibited

Clients may not record sessions (audio, video, or any other format) without my prior written consent. Unauthorised recording constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

8.2  Service Provider recording and promotional use

I may photograph or record sessions for quality, training, or promotional purposes. If I intend to use any such material publicly (e.g. on the website, social media, or in marketing materials), I will request your separate written consent before doing so. You are under no obligation to give consent, and refusal will not affect the services provided to you.

Consent given may be withdrawn at any time by contacting me at csaba@slowcubing.ch. Withdrawal of consent does not affect any use already made of the material prior to withdrawal.

9. Nature of the Coaching Relationship

Slow Cubing coaching is a personal development service. It is not a substitute for psychological therapy, medical treatment, psychiatric care, or professional counselling. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

I make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or results from coaching sessions. Progress depends entirely on individual engagement, effort, and personal circumstances.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, session frameworks, methodologies, and the Slow Cubing concept — is the intellectual property of Mária Bordáné Móré, Móré Creative Arts unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.

Any materials shared with you during sessions are provided for your personal use only.

References to ‘Rubik’s Cube’ on this website describe the well-known puzzle on which the Slow Cubing method is based. Rubik’s Cube® and Rubik’s® are registered trademarks of Spin Master Ltd. Móré Creative Arts and the Slow Cubing method are independent of, and not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spin Master, Rubik’s Brand Ltd, or any of their affiliates.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, my liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website or the coaching services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific session or package to which the claim relates.

I am not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss — including loss of earnings or business opportunities — unless caused by my wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Under Swiss law (OR Art. 100), liability for intentional harm or gross negligence cannot be excluded by contract. This clause does not attempt to do so.

12. Confidentiality

I treat all information shared by clients during sessions as strictly confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except where required by law. This obligation does not apply to information that is already publicly available.

13. Website Use

This website is provided for informational and booking purposes. I make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy and availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. I reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Changes will not apply retroactively to sessions already confirmed or paid for.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law, in particular the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UWG).

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the coaching services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canton de Vaud, Switzerland.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that most closely reflects the original intent.
